It was earlier speculated that Gautham Menon would prefer Anirudh this time to score music for his ongoing film with STR and upcoming with Thala Ajith. Now it is official that GVM had roped in Oscar Winner AR Rahman to compose tunes for his film with STR. The director himself posted in his twitter account that, “It’s AR Rahman for the film with simbu and we have recorded one song. Filming the song from the 8th”. It is worth mentioning here that, the STR – GVM – ARR team is back together again after their blockbuster Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
AR Rahman is currently in Los Angels for his other commitments and
the master had sent his score from there as requested by the director
Gautham Menon. This song filming will happen on Dec 8th and it was
penned by Madhan Karky. Sequence of this song is said to be as when STR
meets Pallavi Subash for the first time. So fans, get ready for a
soothing romantic number!
