Simbu is a happy man. The first day of shooting for his new project with Pasanga director Pandiraj seems to have gone off without a hitch. The actor tweeted a picture of himself on camera with “First scene over :)” Sources say that the shoot took place in an apartment near Urapakkam in Chennai. Several scenes that involve Simbu and comedian Soori have been canned by the director.
The Osthe actor had earlier tweeted about the as-yet-unnamed movie saying, “Starting a new project from Monday with Pandiraj. Producing it in my home banner.My brother Kural is scoring the music.” He also added that it was a rom-com but not urban-centric and said that it would be something very different from what we had seen Simbu do earlier.
Simbu also promised his followers that, “All that you expect from me will also be there.” Comedian Santhanam will also be teaming up with Simbu in the movie but the rest of the cast and crew is yet to be finalised. Balasubramaniam is handling the camera. Simbu also tweeted that they were currently in the look-out for a romantic title. Apart from the shooting, Simbu seems busy with accepting wishes and numerous ‘All the best!’ tweets from fans and followers on the micro-blogging site.
