Students in various cities are on hunger strike, demanding India to vote against Sri Lanka, for its alleged war crimes during the final phase of war against the LTTE in 2009, at the UN Human Rights Council meet in Geneva, later this month.
STR met the students of Law College, lending his support to the cause. He tweeted,"Met, motivated the #studentshungerstrike ... feeling sorry 4 them yet proud 4 their cause @ the same time :)"
This is really a noble gesture from the actor, who encouraged the students that, what they are doing is a real protest and is just a publicity stint if he does it.
