Mahat Raghavendra, who is playing a lead role in Backbench Student, thanked Simbu for singing a song in his Backbench. He twitted, “Thanx a lot simbu, it's the number one track of last week here!!! Ppl love the track! It's really great that u sang in Telugu!!!”
Backbench’s soundtracks are composed by Sunil Kashyap which was launched on February had got good response from the audience. Simbus power mix sung by Simbu is combination of Ilaiyaraja’s music from his days. Simbu known for his singing in Tamilnadu and now he is trying with Telugu audiences. This film is to hit screens on March 15 and features Mahat, Pia Bajpai and Archan kavi. Madhura Sreedhar Reddy directing the film and MVK Reddy is producing it. And the story is loosely based on Chetan’s Revolution 2020.
