The Telugu blockbuster "Pottugadu" had actor Manoj in the lead, also saw
STR crooning a song in the movie. Now the rumor mills have come out
with news that the movies remake rights have been grabbed and will have
Simbu and Cheran in the remake.
Simbu and Manoj are good friends, might be the reason
to have propelled for the remake. However an official confirmation is
yet to be out on this. It is to be noted that Cheran has never wielded
the megaphone for a remake and if this is confirmed, might be the first
as well.
Pottugadu is the story of a nomad who falls in love
with four girls and rest to follow. Sources say that the story will be
apt for a star as ravishing as STR. However this will need to wait for
an official confirmation.
