Vettai Mannan is back and running on a grand scale

After being put on hold for a substantial amount of time, Vettai Mannan, starring Simbu, Jai and Hansika and directed by Nelson is set to be resumed. Now we hear that the producers, NIC Arts are looking at Japan to can a majority of the second half after the team had managed to complete the entire first half sometime back.
This is what art director Lalgudi Ilayaraja had to say to Behindwoods about the plans of Vettai Mannan team.

"Myself and director Nelsan are leaving for Japan tonight for a location recce and we will return in a week's time after finalizing the spot. We will be putting up a huge set there and I will be briefing the technicians in Japan about the design and other aspects, over the course of the coming week. In about a month's time, the set work should be complete after which the team would be travelling to Japan to shoot. Nelson is looking at completing the schedule in a month's time as the majority of the second half's scenes will be shot in Japan"

It must be noted that after Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Vettai Mannan also joins the list of movies to be shot recently in Japan.
