Reports of STR starrer Vaalu releasing on August 15th
have been washed away as rumours by our sources close to the team. They
are supposedly looking to release their film on a festival day - either
on the Vinayaka Chaturthi day in September or Diwali. While starting
the project, Simbu and team wanted the film to be a quickie. But, things
didn’t go as per plan and the film is still in production.
The last schedule will go on floors on June 28th in Hyderabad. The team along with Simbu, Hansika and villain, Adithya, will shoot for an intense action sequence involving 15 fighters. For this purpose, art director Lalgudi Ilayaraja will be erecting a set in Lingampalli Railway Station, Hyderabad. The team has also planned to can a sophisticated blast sequence.
The team is being led by director Vijay Chander. Thaman is working on the music and Shakthi takes the spot behind the camera. Santhanam, VTV Ganesh, Naren and Sri Ranjani are also part of the ensemble.
