The twin blasts in Hyderabad have rocked the nation with quite a few reported dead and many injured. Kollywood's Simbu was in Hyderabad at the time of the blasts, shooting for his upcoming film Vaalu in Ramoji Film City. Post the blast, Simbu updated on his social networking site that he is safe and that there is nothing to worry. He too expressed his pain at the blast and appealed for unity among the citizens of the country. Simbu tweeted "
Dis is a curse dt india is forced 2 bear,v indians r fearless & no matter hw many foes challenge us v will always b victorious! Jaihind." Vaalu is a comedy flick directed by Vijay Chandar starring Simbu and Hansika in the lead with Santhanam and VTV Ganesh in important roles while Thaman is scoring the music. Vaalu is a love story and is about a youngster who lives in the railway quarters in Chennai.
