STR's latest fan in the film industry is Deeksha Seth. The actress says that she is a huge STR fan and does not miss seeing his films. It was Deeksha’s desire to share the screen space with the star at least once and her dream has come true now.Deeksha, who was seen in the Vikram starrer Rajapattai, will be paired opposite STR in Vettai Mannan. Though Hansika plays an important role in this film, it is Deeksha who is paired opposite the star. Well, that’s surely the reward for being the star’s fan.

Simbu with Elan Morrison @ LA!

Simbu aka STR had gone global with his Love Anthem For World Peace, the teaser of which that has already gone viral and received rave reviews. The star is currently in LA for recording the album, in the UMRK, Frank Zappa's Studio.

Standing next to Simbu in these pictures is Elan Morrison, the keyboard artiste and his assistant Jere. It may be mentioned that Elan Morrison is responsible for producing some of the hottest new artists and music today, working by himself or in partnership with Jared J Lee Gosselin, Elan is truly helping define the future of music. Velvet Revolver, Dr. Dre, Slash, Sean "P Diddy" Combs, Tony Braxton, Macy Gray, DMC, Kanye, Bobby Brown, Booker T, Bones, Seal and Slayer are just some of the names associated with Elan in the past.

"Simbu is making sure that every person in the album, be it the recording artist or the performer, should be thorough and ace world class professionals as he doesn't want to compromise in the quality", say sources in the know.

He’s finished working with director Gautham Menon and the duo delivered a superhit  in VTV.  Currently,  Simbu  is working  with commercial director  Dharani on  Vosthi,  the   Tamil  remake  of Dabangg. And the latest news is that the  actor  will turn  director next  year,  perhaps  in a  bid  to  ensure  that his  dream  project, Kettavan,  shapes up  the way  he wants it to.
Confirming the news, the actor says, “I’m  starting  it  next  year, for sure. The cast and crew are yet to be finalized  but  just that I want to  kickstart  the  film. ”Many   in   the   industry   say   that Kettavan  is  Simbu’s  dream   project.   Is that true?  “Well,  you could say that,” he says, “It’s been on my mind  for quite  a while now and I’m happy that I’m starting it now. It is not  Manmadhan 2, but it will fall under that style of filmmaking and  will  be  made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.”
The actor feels that this would come across as a different film for audiences among the current crop of films that he has.


 “Everybody keeps asking me about Kettavan, even though they liked VTV and are eager to know about my current projects,” he says, “I couldn’t do  it in the  last few months as I was busy with my other projects but now,  I’ll  seriously  start  work  on it.”  Yuvan Shankar Raja will score music for the film. “The Ennada Nadakuthu…  number that we  composed for this film sometime ago was leaked on the Internet and is  already a hit,”  gushes  Simbu.   While Vosthi is likely to hit screens during Deepavali,  Simbu’s other  projects — Podaa Podi  and  Vettai Mannan will follow after which he’ll start work on his dream project.

Simbu's 'Kettavan' to start rolling, finally!

       Simbu's 'Kettavan' had taken the backburner and wherever the actor went, which ever interview he attended, this was always one of the questions he couldn't escape from journalists and fans.
 Now Simbu fans can rejoice as the film will finally start rolling! Speaking
on this, Simbu expressed, "Kettavan will start next year, wherever I go the first question I face was always, when is Kettavan. Finally, I have decided to start it and I am directing the film!"

Yuvan Shankar Raja, a dear friend of Simbu, who has also given him many hits, will be scoring the music for this film.We may add, his earlier film as a director-hero, 'Manmadhan' was a landmark film in Simbu's career.
