Simbu acts for 3 days in Dhanush film
Actors Dhanush and Silambarasan who are considered has tough competitiors have many times in the past expressed their friendship. Recently the two young actors spent an evening with Ilaythalabathi Vijay and it was heartening to note the three stars sharing quality time together. It is well known that Simbu makes a cameo appearance in the film Kakka Muttai produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films company.
When we contacted some reliable sources close to the film we have been told that Simbu shot for three days for the film directed by Manikandan. Simbu has also crooned a song for the film composed by G.V.Prakashkumar, the common friend of both the actors.

I want Simbu, Appa to sing in my first film: Kuralarasan
Simbu’s brother Kuralarasan, who is making his debut as a music director with Pandiraj’s film, has plans to make his dad and brother sing for his music tracks. The film, which has Simbu and Nayanthara playing the lead, has been tentatively titled Idhu Namma Aalu.
Kuralarasan says, “I want to have them in my debut music album. They inspired me and it would be great to have them on board. Appa will be singing a folk song in the film and I have not yet decided on Simbu’s song. It will be either a club song or a folk number. I too will be singing a song.”
He adds, “I have been composing trendy tunes for this music album. I played all the tracks that I have composed for Simbu and my Dad and they loved it. They are my seniors and I believe they know the audience a lot better than I do.” On his upcoming projects, he says, “Though I have got a couple of offers in Tamil and Telugu, I would like to concentrate only on this film now, as this is my dream debut.”

What Simbu said to Rajni's daughter
Yesterday the trailer of Superstar Rajnikanth's Kocahdiiyaan was released and today the number of hits is continuously rising. The trailer of the first Indian film to be made with Motion capture technology has been receiving rave reviews cutting across sections.
The Twitterati is filled with Kochadiiyaan messages and celebrities have started appreciating the effort behind the magnum opus film. Actor Simbu who is a self admitted Rajni fan has shared Kochadiiyaan Trailer in his twitter page staring "Thalaivar is back". He has also appreciated the trailer as well as the song sung by Latha Rajnikanth, in his tweet to Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin, the director of the film and the younger daughter of the Superstar.

Vijay, Simbu and Dhanush bond over cinema
It is not often that you hear tales of our top stars catching up outside work. But that is what happened when Vijay, Simbu and Dhanush met up for an evening of fun at a restaurant in the city on Saturday night. Simbu had put up this photo on his micro-blogging page and when we contacted him, he told us, “We discussed cinema, music and friends among other things. We had a very nice time together.”

அப்பா டி. ராஜேந்தரின் அடுக்கு மொழிப் பேச்சோ, அண்ணன் சிம்புவின் குறும்புத்தனமோ கொஞ்சமும் இல்லை குறளரசனிடம். பேசும் த்வனியில் கூட மெலடியான இசைபோல மென்மையாகப் பேசுகிறார். குழந்தை நட்சத்திரமாகத் திரையின் லகானைப் பிடித்தவர், இசையின் மீது தீராக்காதல் கொண்டு இயக்குநர் பாண்டிராஜின் ‘இது நம்ம ஆளு’ படத்தின் மூலம் இசையமைப்பாளர் ஆகியிருக்கிறார். பகல் முழுவதும் தூக்கம், இரவு முழுவதும் இசை ஆக்கம் என்று பிஸியாக இருக்கும் குறளரசன் ஒருகோப்பைத் தேநீரை நமக்குப் பரிமாறியபடியே ஒரு நடுநிசியில் வெளிச்சம் பொதிந்த வார்த்தைகள் மின்னப் பேச ஆரம்பித்தார். தனது முதல் பேட்டி என்ற எந்த பதட்டமும் அவரிடம் இல்லை... பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்ததில் நேரம்போனதும் தெரியவில்லை...
அண்ணனைப்போலவே நீங்கள் ஹீரோ ஆகப்போகிறீர்கள் என்ற பேச்சு இருந்தது. ஆனால் திடீரென இசை அவதாரம் எப்படி?
ஆர்வம்தான். வீட்டில் அப்பா அம்மாவோட ஆசை எல்லாம் நான் நடிப்பில் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும் என்பதுதான். இப்போ என்னோட விருப்பத்துக்கு இடையூறா இருந்துடக் கூடாதுன்னு விட்டுட்டாங்க. சின்ன வயசுல இருந்தே அப்பாவோட மியூசிக் வேலைகளை எல்லாம் கூடவே இருந்து பார்த்ததால வந்த ஆர்வம்தான் இது. அவர்தான் கம்போஸிங் எல்லாம் கத்துக்கொடுத்தது. கீ போர்டு மட்டும் அப்பப்போ வெளியில் போய் கத்துக்கிட்டேன். நடிக்கிற திட்டமும் இருக்கு. அதுக்கு இன்னும் கொஞ்சம் மெச்சூரிட்டி வரட்டுமேனு காத்திருக்கேன். இப்போதான் விஸ்காம் முடிச்சேன். 22 வயசுதான். கொஞ்சம் டைம் எடுத்துக்கலாமே.
சொந்தத் தயாரிப்பு என்பதால் தான் ‘இது நம்ம ஆளு’ படத்தோட இசை வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்ததா?
அப்படி சொல்லிவிட முடியாது. இந்த மியூசிக் வாய்ப்புக்கு முதல் காரணம் அண்ணன். ‘இயக்குநர் பாண்டிராஜ்கூட ஒரு படம் பண்ணப்போகிறேன். நீ உன்னோட டியூன்ஸ் எல்லாத்தையும் அவர்கிட்ட வந்து போட்டுக்காட்டு’ன்னு அண்ணன்தான் அழைத்துப்போனார். அதுவரை, நான் கம்போஸ் பண்ணின டியூன்களில் 7 டியூன்களை மட்டும் அண்ணன், அப்பாகிட்ட போட்டுக் காட்டியிருந்தேன். அதைத் தவிர 50 பாடல்கள் கம்போஸ் பண்ணி வைத்திருந்தேன். எல்லாத்தையுமே இயக்குநர் பாண்டிராஜ்கிட்ட ப்ளே செய்து காட்டினேன். அவருக்கும் ரொம்பவே பிடிச்சுப்போச்சு. படம் காதல் கதை. எனக்கும் முதல் முறையாக ஒரு காதல் கதைக்கு இசை அமைப்பதில் விருப்பமா இருந்தது. என் டியூன்களில் அவரோட கதைக்கு ஏற்ற மாதிரி செலக்ட் பண்ணிக்கிட்டார். இப்போ வரைக்கும் ஐந்து பாட்டு. இன்னும் ஒரு பாடல் சேர்க்க வாய்ப்பு இருக்கு. பாட்டுகள் எல்லாம் எக்ஸ்ட்ராடினரியாக கொடுத்திருக்கேன்னு சொல்ல முடியாது. ‘நல்லா இருக்கு!’ன்னு சொல்லுவாங்க என்கிற நம்பிக்கை இருக்கு
உங்க அப்பா தமிழில் முதுகலைப் பட்டதாரி. உங்களுக்கு தமிழில் எழுதப்படிக்கத் தெரியுமா?
அண்ணா, அக்கா எல்லாம் தமிழ் படிச்சாங்க. என்னை மட்டும் ஹிந்தி, பிரெஞ்சுன்னு போட்டுட்டாங்க. ஆனால், தமிழை நானே எழுதப் படிக்க கத்துக்கிட்டேன். தாய் மொழியை மிஸ் பண்ண முடியுமா? யாரோட உதவியும் இல்லாமல் நானே தமிழை ஈடுபாட்டோட கற்றுக்கொண்டதில் ஹேப்பிதான்.
பாடல்களில் அப்பா, அண்ணனோட குரல் இருக்கும்தானே?
எங்க மூணு பேரோட குரலிலும் பாடல்கள் உண்டு. அண்ணன் பாடி முடிச்சாச்சு. அவங்களோட பங்களிப்பு இருக்கணும்னு எல்லோருமே எதிர்பார்பாங்க, இல்லையா?
மற்ற இசையமைப்பாளர்களைப்போல நீங்களும் இரவுப் பறவைதானா?
பகலில் மியூசிக் பண்ணக் கூடாதுன்னு இல்லை. இரவில் நம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் எந்த தொந்தரவும் இருக்காது. இரவுக்கும் இசைக்கும் ஒரு லிங்க் இருக்கத்தான் செய்கிறது. இசை என் கனவு. அதற்காக எத்தனை இரவுகள் வேண்டுமானாலும் விழித்திருக்கலாம்.
திரையிசையில் ஹிட் கொடுக்க பல்ஸ் தெரியுமா?
எந்தத் துறையா இருந்தாலும் புதிய முயற்சியும் அட்டெம்டும் இருந்தால் மட்டுமே நாம நிக்க முடியும். இன்னைக்கு ரசிகர்கள் என்ன விரும்புறாங்க என்பதை கவனித்து கொடுக்க கொஞ்சம் தவறினாலும் நம்மைக் கடந்து போய்க்கொண்டே இருப்பார்கள். ரசனை நவீனமாக இருக்கும்போது பழைய பாடல்களின் பாதிப்பில் தரும் இசை மீது எனக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை. அது நம்மைக் கீழே அழுத்தும் வேலை என்றுதான் சொல்வேன். எல்லா காலகட்டத்திலுமே இங்கு இசையில் புதிதாகக் கொடுத்தவர்கள் மட்டுமே ஜெயித்திருக்கிறார்கள். அப்படிக் கொடுத்தா மட்டும்தான் நிற்க முடியும். அதனால் பல்ஸ் என்பதே புதுமை என்று நான் புரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறேன்.
டெக்னிக்கலான புது முயற்சி ஏதாவது? ‘டப்ஸ்டஃப்’ என்ற ஒரு லேட்டஸ்ட் ஜானரைக் கொடுக்கப்போறோம். தமிழ்ல யுவன் போன்ற சிலர் இதை டிரை பண்ணியிருக்காங்க. இப்போதான் அமெரிக்காவில் ஹிட் ஆகிட்டிருக்கு. அந்த ஜானரை தமிழுக்கு ஏத்த மாதிரி மோல்டு செய்து நம்ம ரசனைக்கு ஏற்றாற்போல கொடுக்க முயற்சி செய்துவர்றேன். பாப் ஸ்டைல் மாதிரி இதுவும் புது ஸ்டைலாக அமையும். ரசிகர்கள் நிச்சயம் விரும்புவாங்க.
கம்போஸர் ஆனதும் வாழ்த்து குவியத் தொடங்கியிருக்குமே?
நிறைய. குறிப்பா அப்பா, அம்மாவோட வாழ்த்து எனக்கு முக்கியமா படுது. நடிப்பில்தான் கவனம் செலுத் தணும்னு இருந்தவங்க, எனக்கு ஒரு கனவு இருக்குன்னு என் போக்குக்கு விட்டுட்டாங்க. அதேபோல அண்ணா, இயக்குநர் பாண்டிராஜ் எல்லோரும் ரொம்பவே சப்போர்டிவ்வா இருக்காங்க.
அடுத்த புராஜக்ட்?
தமிழ்ல 3 படமும், ரெண்டு தெலுங்கு படமும் வந்தன. என்னோட முதல் படத்துக்கான வேலைகளே நிறைய இருக்கு. ரெக்கார்டிங், மிக்ஸிங் பெஸ்ட்டா கொடுக்கணும்னு அமெரிக்கா, சென்னைன்னு டிராவலிங்லயே பெரும்பாலும் இருக்கேன். இந்த நேரத்தில் வேற ஆஃபர் எதையும் ஏத்துக்க முடியாது. முதல் படம் எல்லோருமே எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள். ரொம்பவே ஃப்ரஷ்ஷா இருக்கணும்னு ஓடிக்கிட்டிருக்கேன். அதனால் மைன்ட்ல இப்போ முழுக்க முழுக்க இந்தப் படம் மட்டும்தான்.
சிம்பு பற்றிய காதல் செய்திகள் வரும்போது நீங்க எப்படி எடுத்துகிறீங்க?
காமெடியா ஃபீல் பண்ணுவேன். எந்த சர்ப்ரைஸும் இருக்காது. ஒரு காதில் வாங்கி மறு காதில் விடுவது மாதிரிதான். ஆனால், சமீபத்தில் அண்ணன், ஹன்சிகா காதல் விஷயத்துல மட்டும் ரொம்பவே ஃபீல் பண்ணேன். அவங்களோட காதல் எவ்ளோ உண்மையானதுனு எனக்குத் தெரியும். அண்ணன் எவ்ளோ கஷ்டப்படுவான்னு நினைக்கும்போது வருத்தமா இருக்கு. இன்னைக்கு ரெண்டு பேரும் ஒண்ணா இல்லையே என்று நினைத்தே பார்க்க முடியலை. அவங்களோட காதல் அவ்வளவு அழகானது. அது இப்போ இல்லைன்னு ஆனதுதான் கஷ்டமா இருக்கு.
‘இது நம்ம ஆளு’ படத்தில் நயன்தாரா ஹீரோயினாக நடிக்கிறாங்களே?
சந்தோஷம். ஒரு நடிகை என்பதையும் தாண்டி அவங்க எனக்கு ஒரு நல்ல ஃபிரண்ட். எங்கே, எப்போது பார்த்தாலும் நல்லா பழகுவாங்க. அவங்களை ரொம்பவே பிடிக்கும். இந்தப் படத்தில் அவங்க நடிக்கிறாங்க என்பது கூடுதல் சந்தோஷம்தான்.
Simbu, Trisha to Team Up Again
After the success of Tamil romantic-drama "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya", actors Silambarasan aka Simbu and Trisha Krishnan are teaming up again for yet-untitled Tamil project to be helmed by filmmaker Selvaraghavan.
The film will be produced by Varun Manian and will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has scored music for most of Selva's films. "I'll start working with Simbu and Trisha soon. Yuvan will compose the music while Varun will produce it. More about the project will be announced soon. We are planning to go on floors soon," Selva told IANS. Selva, who is known for films such as "Pudhupettai" and "7G Rainbow Colony", is teaming up with Simbu for the first time.
While Simbu is currently shooting for "Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai" and "Vaalu", Trisha is awaiting the release of Tamil actioner "Boologam".

Simbu and Hansika still cordial | INDIAGLITZ
Actor Simbu announced to the press last week that he has ended his love relationship with her Vaalu and Vettaimannan co-star Hansika. Now the news is that Simbu was with Hansika in the shooting of Vaalu while he made the announcement in his Twitter page and sent the news to the press through his PRO.
Sources say that Simbu and Hansika were cordial towards each other on the sets without showing off any feeling of bitterness. A song 'You are my darling' which will be retained in the film. Interestingly the song is pictured on Simbu singing to Hansika that he does not want Nayanthara or Andrea and only wants her. Vaalu's director Vijay Chander says that the song is a part of the film and it should not be confused with reality. In other words it is not the song sung by Simbu to Hansika. It is the song sung by Sharp to Priya Mahalakshmi the respective characters of Simbu and Hansika in the film
