Hansika denies having affair with Simbu

Buzz was that Hansika Motwani is dating with Tamil actor Simbu, but the actress denied such reports and clarified on her twitter handle.

The gorgeous 22-year-old beauty said that she is not having any kind of affair with her co-actor Silambarasan aka Simbu, and adds that when she will be in love, she will herself inform everybody.

She clarified this news on her twitter page by saying, "(I have) been hearing a lot of news about my link up. All I can do is laugh it off because I love reading stuff about me, which I myself don't know."

"Let me still clear the air that there is no truth to any rumours. When I'm in love, I will openly inform the media," she further added.

Hansika, however, admits that the lifestyle of a celebrity is prone to rumours. She says, "I understand it's a part and parcel of celebrity life, but still don't want to give my fans any wrong information and I know my media family will support me."

Hansika Motwani and Simbu are presently working on their two Tamil films, "Vaalu" and "Vettai Mannan". Also her upcoming movies include, "Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru", "Singam 2" and "Biriyani".

Hansika laughs off link up rumours with Simbu

Chennai: Southern actress Hansika Motwani says she is not dating Tamil actor Silambarasan aka Simbu and adds "when I'm in love, I will inform".

Hansika and Simbu are currently working on two Tamil films 'Vaalu' and 'Vettai Mannan'. "(I have) been hearing a lot of news about my link up. All I can do is laugh it off because I love reading stuff about me, which I myself don't know," posted Hansika on her Twitter page.

"Let me still clear the air that there is no truth to any rumours. When I'm in love, I will openly inform the media," she further wrote.

She admits celebrity lifestyle is prone to rumours. "I understand it's a part and parcel of celebrity life, but still don't want to give my fans any wrong information and I know my media family will support me," she wrote.

Her other upcoming Tamil films include 'Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru', 'Singam 2" and 'Biriyani'.

Akhil's Vaalu vs Simbu's Vaalu - The inside story

Yesterday's newspaper ads came out with the poster of a movie by the name Vaalu. We aren't talking about the Simbu - Hansika starrer produced by NIC Arts, but another new movie which features Kalloori fame Akhil in the lead.

We hear that the producers of this Akhil starrer hadn't registered their title with the Producers Council and went ahead with the publicity ad without any clearance from the council. Now there is a stay on this team and they won't be able to further carry any publicity material in the news dailies. They have to come up with an alternate title right away.

NIC Arts have been retaining the title Vaalu over the past 4 years and they have been renewing their rights. Vijay Chander directs this Simbu starrer and the movie has been delayed quite a bit already, after being planned initially as a Diwali 2012 release

Our STR loyalties are confused with the "Title issue of Vaalu". When contacted director Vijay Chandar, he clarified that "The team holds the registration certificate and there are no changes in this title VAALU, as declared earlier - it continues to be the same . . ." Its Officially declared.

Simbu in a 3D cameo!

Action 3D, which was previously known as Aasu Raja Rani Jackie Matrum Joker, is apparently inspired by the popular Hollywood film, The Hangover. The film stars Allari Naresh, Shaam, Vaibhav, Raju Sundaram, Kamna Jethmalani, Sneha Ullal and Neelam Upadhyaya in the lead roles and has music by Bappi Lahiri and his son Bappa Lahiri.

Word from the unit of Action 3D is that Simbu will be appearing in a special cameo. The film, produced and directed by Anil Sunkara, will supposedly be India’s first comedy 3D film. Action 3D is slated for release in the month of May 2013.

Allari Naresh is all set to strike the screens again with Action 3D, a remake of The Hangover, directed and produced by Anil Sunkara, which is the first comedy 3D film. Looks like Silambarasan aka Simbu has done a cameo role in the film which is slated for a release in the month of May. Action 3D is bilingual comedy film which is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil and it features an ensemble cast of Allari Naresh, Shaam, Vaibhav, Raju Sundaram, Kamna Jethmalani, Sneha Ullal and Neelam Upadhyaya in the lead roles. Bappi and Bappa Lahari are composing the music for this film. Simbu had recently done a guest appearance in Santhanam's Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya which also had Powerstar and Sethu in the lead.

An action packed flick with either Vikram, Karthi or Simbu

Settai director Kannan’s next would be an original script and an action packed one at that. One among Vikram, Simbu or Karthi is in the director’s mind and he is currently in discussion with his assistants in Kodaikanal. Hansika would probably be the chosen one again for the director after Settai.

The title of this film is not Alangaram as speculated earlier and it is yet to be finalized. PVP Cinemas would be producing this film.

Are talks about Simbu and Pandiraj true?

After the success of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, all eyes are on director Pandiraj’s next movie. There were talks of a possible association between Pandiraj and Simbu but all such talks have turned out to be baseless according to sources close to the director.

Simbu has films like Vaalu and Vettai Mannan to complete while Pandiraj is yet to decide on his next.

Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga meanwhile is going strong in its 3^rd week and the movie has turned out to be a commercially viable venture for all parties concerned.

Not with Simbu now, says Pandiraj

It was rumoured that actor Simbu will join hands with Pasanga fame director Pandiraj for his next flick. Simbu is currently busy with Vaalu and Vettai Mannan and rumour had it that the young star was keen on working with the popular director. However, Pandiraj, who is enjoying the success of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga tells DC, “There is nothing in the pipeline. Simbu lent his voice for the song Oru Porambokku for Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and the song was a hit, thanks to the Yuvan-Simbu combo. Just because Simbu sang for one of my films, a lot of people assumed that we are working together on a project. It's not true.“ The National Award winner tells us that he hasn't thought of his next project as yet.

Simbu croons for a multi-starrer

Netru Indru is a film directed by Padmamagan and is supposedly an action thriller set in the jungle. The film is a multi-starrer that features Prasanna, Vimal, Richard Rishi and a plethora of supporting actors. The film was originally called ‘Koothu’ but since the title had been registered by some other production house the team was forced to resort to the title Netru Indru.

A key feature of this film is its soundtrack that employs STR's singing skills. Simbu has crooned a song called ‘Roadu Podu’. One can expect this song too to fare well with the audience just as his previous efforts have been successful. The film’s music is by Rahaan.

Behindwoods learns that the track will be released as a promo song sometime next week and in the movie it will be played out during the end credits. The video of the song has been interestingly shot involving the hardworking backend of a film unit such as make-up artists, drivers, spot boys and other such contributors. The song hopes to highlight their efforts.

Double Damaka by STR and Hansika

Silambarasan, who is playing the main lead in Vaalu, shoot is almost complete except for few songs and climax portions. Vijay Chander is directing this flick. Hansika is playing the female lead. Santhanam is playing a prominent role. Vaalu A crucial comedy scene which comes in climax part has to picturized on STR, Santhanam and Hansika in a temple.

The movie is slated for its release in August. S.S.Thaman composing the tunes for the film and a single track which is crooned by STR was released on Valentine’s Day and was well received. Silambarasan is also busy shooting his next movie Vettai Mannan under Nelson’s direction. The film features Hansika in female lead and Jai, Deeksha Seth are playing the main leads. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the tunes. Vaalu, Vettai Mannan are produced by S.S.Chakravarthy under Nic Arts.

Two one-liners for Vijay from Simbu's directors

Directors of two of Simbu’s upcoming films, Vaalu and Vettai Mannan, Vijay Chander and Nelson respectively, nurture a common wish. Both of them have in fact narrated one-liners of their scripts to the same star and it’s none other than Vijay.

Their narrations happened quite some time back and both of them are eagerly waiting for a response from the star. But, Vijay is already busy with films like Thalaivaa and Jilla and even if he decides to accept either or both of these scripts, he’ll do it only in 2014 and beyond.

Thalaivaa is pushing Vaalu further

We have got a status update from Simbu’s Vaalu, directed by Vijay Chander. The climax portions and five song sequences are left to be canned in the movie. In all, another 20 days of filming are scheduled to take place but the Vaalu team is being held up by the absence of Santhanam.
The 'comedy super star' is currently in Australia shooting for Vijay’s Thalaivaa and after he returns, the climax portions of Vaalu would be shot. It seems there is a special comedy sequence featuring Simbu, Hansika and Santhanam in the climax and the director is eagerly waiting for 'Santa' to return back home. These sequences would be canned in a temple.

Vaalu is being planned for an August 15^th release as of now after being initially slotted as a Diwali 2012 release.

Who is directing Simbu’s next?

Director Pandiraj is a happy man now after the success of his latest film ‘Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga’. If sources are to be believed, Simbu will play the lead role in Pandiraj’s next film. The project is expected to go on floors after Simbu completes his current projects.

The story is expected to be a family subject with equal opportunity for Simbu to showcase his heroism. Pandiraj is currently giving final touches to the script and official announcement is expected to be made soon. Meanwhile, STR is currently acting in ‘Vaalu’ and ‘Vettai Mannan’. Hansika Motwani is paired opposite STR in both the films.
